happy new year, everyone! i’m excited that it’s now 2009. there’s a lot i have planned for the new year, and i’m certainly very much anticipating the upcoming months!

new year’s eve was spent at my house. we watched nbc, on which the ting tings performed. i didn’t go to my friend’s house. i didn’t do much. i haven’t done much lately at all. i’ve been running errands. that’s about as exciting as things have been getting. though i did manage to do some shopping yesterday. i picked up some older cds, and i bought the greatest hits of the missing persons. i love them.

i’ve been trying to make plans all day with my friends. so far nothing’s panned out, which of course kind of sucks but i’m kinda used to it because everybody’s been busy lately.

i have school monday. saying i’m anxious is putting it mildly.

i have a party at a friends’ house later. part of me is really excited, while part of me is just not in the mood to do anything today. what are your plans for tonight?

we rented movies yesterday. “the house bunny,” which i watched for the third time last night (i saw it twice over the summer with my friends), “definitely, maybe,” “journey to the centre of the earth,” and “baby momma.” i began watching “definitely, maybe” but i fell asleep.

the past week has been very stressful. everyone’s been sick, including myself, on and around christmas. my aunt and uncle from georgia flew in for a few days, which was nice because we got to spent some time together but not as much as i had hoped. we obviously missed a few parties for christmas, and i spent most of the holiday alone, but it wasn’t that bad because “family guy” kept me company.

i’m going to do some shopping today. i’m not even sure what’s left in stores by this point.

p.s. - does anybody else find something wrong with that picture above? i don’t know what idiot would rip up a blockbuster card at family video, seriously. (i hate family video, for the record. their backstock is atrocious.)

p.p.s. - i hate making plans.

i’m incredibly tired. i spent today working on homework and baking cookies. it doesn’t sound like much but it’s exhausting.

we randomly found a cookie-cutter that is of a man with a gun and gunholsters. we’re not quite sure where it came from, but you can be assured i found it highly amusing and took photos of it.

it’s been snowing a lot lately. i had off friday and now i’m off tomorrow because of the random whiteouts. hopefully, i’m going to have a photoshoot and also do some shopping and maybe get my haircut at some point tomorrow if the weather clears up. let’s hope it does!
